727 Converter question?

Just a quick question.
Stock 727 big block tranny.
I need a new converter, is it a 24 spine?
Is it a generic converter that fits big and small blocks?

24 spline, lock ups were different. Factory had different stall speeds, muscle vs truck, etc. If you go aftermarket, the ring gear is sometimes on the flexplate. Plus, internal vs external (cast) crank balance.
