727 info

I am going to have a 727 trans built and would like to know what the best shift kit would be for it,stock 69 rr 383 with 323 gear,planning on changing to 355,need to keep it a non manual VB since i have a column shift.thanks

The TransGo TF2 is a good one.

I used the transgo TF-1 on a 68 383 Charger with the same gearing. very crisp shifts, but not harsh

I'm with these guys, either TransGo kit will get you a good shifting 727, the TF-2 is more street/strip oriented but they will both do the job

I just put a TF-2 from trans go in my 69 RR with 451. Boy it works great! Retains the passing gear kick down, but shifts at a higher RPM. Good solid quick shifts.
