Guys I have been surfing for hours and trying to find the best of 3 worlds on kits.
Any recommendations on kit that are the most complete. Bands included.
Any benefit to going from Red Eagle to Kevlar or Kolene? I already have the TF-2 kit lined up but just the tranny kits are excessive and vary ALOT.

Going behind a 360 mildly built and it will get some mild abuse. Also cheap converter for a 1500-1800 stall? Cheap because a 518 will go in this next year.

u want cheap but with quality? go with a pioneer kit from o'reilly auto parts. they have the intermediate band, all the seals, o-rings, discs, steels, gaskets that you will need to perform an adequate overhaul (they do not include the reverse band, but in most cases you do not need to replace that).

unless a somebody wanted red or blue discs, i always used a OE discs, they worked good for a 440 six pack and a hemi didnt they? they worked great in my 550hp 71 charger drag car that ran 12.17 at 109mph in the 1/4 for 5 years.

people buy the red and blue because they think that those discs will increase longevity.. well yeah, if you have a build of 550hp or more it will, but if you dont, no sense on spending that money.

o'reillys kit: http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/detail/PIO0/753040.oap?pt=C0073&ppt=C0338 134.99 and it has alto clutches in this kit.

RD of course I want the cheap fast quality. Its like asking for a women that never nags. But seriously I will check out the oreilly kit. I have to get a new band(the thicker smaller ID) one. The tranny I have came out of a van and that band is broke. But the tranny appears to have a rebuild on it.

Any more recommendations is greatly appreciated.

you wont be disappointed with the kit, i promise you. I have rebuilt/overhauled over 20 727's using that kit and have never had an issue with the components.
