727 torque converter question.

I have a 1973 charger 727/340 cast crank motor. Original drivetrain. I know the torqueconverter has a balance weight because of the cast crank.

Question is i am puting in a 1970 340 steel crank motor. Can i just remove the balance weight of my converter? Also can i reuse my flexplate?

you can reuse your flexplate as those are neutrally balanced. see other post for answer to other question.
