73 74 Charger Black Grilles OEM?

Bought a nice set of 73 74 Charger SE Grilles that looked Black in the pics.
I thought for sure somebody painted them, but the paint is too nice for a repaint. They are definitely OEM.
Can anyone tell me what model Charger SE these came on?
I know they made some Spring Special and BarraCuda Special Cars that featured blacked out Grille parts, did they do a Charger California Special?

Looks like 73 SE. 71-2 SEa had hideaway headlights. Standard 71 and R/T Chargers had a grill as in the o.p.

They were never painted black from the factory

I agree the 73 74 charger SE grilles. Chrome on the outer edge of the grille and the red divider with some black paint on the fins. No completely blacked out that I have ever seen and no part number in the book for anything other then SE and the standard grille.

they were all argent silver with chrome highlights. bars were either black/chrome or red/chrome depending on year 73 or 74

I'm telling you, this is OEM Paint. So it's gotta be some kinda special order/regional Model.

There are some really talented painters out there. .my dad hit a coyote with his 74 se back in the day when it was new and the replacement factory grill was painted, ready to be put on. .so I don't think any replacement grills were any color other than factory specs either
