73 B Body Exhaust Headers

Looking for experience and recommendations for long tube headers for a '73 340 B Body (manual steering). What fits best and easiest to get installed. Appreciate the thoughts.

I am running TTI on my 340, only thing you have to do is modify the 727 shifter linkage and get a mini starter, otherwise, no issues with them thus far. If you use the complete exhaust system, the passenger side has to be modified to accommodate

the hanger for the rear section of the exhaust.

Hedmans need the same modifications and aren't nearly as nice as the tti's but cost a fraction of em..

I use headman on all my small blocks the most cost effective and the least amount of work needed to fit them and no mini starter needed ,yes it's easyer with it but not needed !

Just installed Doug's on mine. The tranny linkage don't come near them at all

Heddman 1 5/8” headers on my small block 73 Charger Part# 78050

What is the part # of these headers? I have a 73 RRunner 318 with no mini starter.

Heddman 1 3/4” part number is 78030
Heddman 1 5/8” part number is 78050

Those are the only two sets of full length painted headers Summit Racing shows for our cars from Heddman.
