73 bulge hood blackout

I'm getting ready to do the buldge hood blackout on my 73 Rallye. For 1973, Phoenix Graphix shows a stencil with the cutout on the side. For 1972, there is no cutout. I happen to like the 72 design better. Will that work on a 73 hood? Thanks.

From my understanding, I believe the answer is yes. Thought the only difference was the vented/non-vented part on back of hood in front of windshield. Hopefully someone can verify.
