741 swap out for 489

Was needing some info on a 741 swap to a 489. I have a 67 charger with a 741 294 open end. Wanting to swap it out with a 489 case with 323 sure grip from a 70 coronet. Is it simple as swapping center sections.? Same splines for axles? Probably need a 315 u joint im guessing. What else will I encounter. Dont wanna get in over my head. Any advice would be helpful> thank you.

Everything will swap straight across the only variable is the yoke. You might need a conversion u-joint, but other than that, get to wrenching.
