How do I know it's NOS? When I Picked it up 15-20 years ago, I took it to my machinist to check out as I was going to build it; he called me ack the next day to inform me that every other lifter bore had not been final machined. So I took it to another machinist/racer who had a Bridgeport and he punched the holes properly. As with most of my projects, life got in the way or was it ADHD. It had light surface rust on it when I received it so I dipped it and once again became sidetracked. Late 440's are a thin wall casting and not recommended to bore past 40, but it doesn't need bored because it is standard & has never had a rotating assembly installed.
