8.25 axle play

I need to adjust the axle play on my 8.25 rear end.

I saw a video of a 8.75 where it was adjusted by a disc nut on the thread.
Does it work the same way on a 8.25?

No. That is a c clip rear-end, non adjustable.
They have a bit of slop.
