I sort of screwed up ordering a new yoke with my new gear set, thinking the current Richmond set was a 10 spline pinion. Forgot to check the pinion nut size. So $145 lighter for a new yoke, I have a left over, perfectly good pinion yoke. This came off a 489 rear with 29 splines and fits a 7290 u-joint. I checked the seal wear area by lightly dragging the point of a steel pick over it in several areas and my fingernail and could not perceive any wear or grove - just polished by the seal. It did not leak prior to removal. I can include the nut and washer although they usually recommend using a new one. $50 + shipping. Please send any response by PM. I’m in the Little Rock, AR area.
