Ok guys I have a nice 3.55 sure grip in a 489 case big yoke. It was rebuilt about 5k miles ago and is a really nice bolt in and go unit 900 shipped to your door

What happened, threaded part of pinion break on old gears?
 
Yes it was in a 741 originally and the pinion nut backed off then I sent the unit and this gears set off to be rebuilt
