Hi i need some info on a 8.75 inner wheel seal i have tried to get in but they will not go in deep for the axle to seat i have bent 3 seals i have used master pro brand and federated they suppose to be a replacement for CR15460 any good advise may help.THANKS KB9GIB.

What does the inner diameter of the tube look like. I vaguely remember having this issue 15 years ago or there about. I ended up with a Dana and never used the 8 3/4. Thinking back on it, I would have needed to clean up the tube where the seal presses in. Im thinking a ridge reamer and maybe run a hone in there to clean it up.
 
The Dana and 8 3/4 would use the same seals.

Just for info if you have this problem on the inter seals as i did.I Removed the paint and used some gasket sealer on the side i dont know if the sealer help it slide are not but they did go in with it on them i have put many seals in and this was a first for me. Thanks for all the help.KB9GIB
