I had posted last week regarding my Clutch Assembly failure, and decided to replace all I could between the Crank and gearbox. It seemed to have a good bit of oil contamination from the tranny, so new seals at that end. Looking at the pinion shaft seal that was in place, I'm thinking this seal was in backwards ? Can anyone confirm the proper installation of this ? I hope the pics are clear enough to see the detail...Thanks

When I disassembled the housing, I used a straight edge and square to try and get an idea where the sealing ring was riding, and it looked like it wasn't deep enough to get to the polished surface on the shaft. Looks like the new seal installed correctly should resolve the leakage trouble. THANKS for that quick response, and I should have it back together as soon as the new ARP F/W bolts arrive...
