Thought I would throw this up here and see if there was any interest. This is an 89 Dakota that I bought with plans to drop in a 383 and 4 speed. Since I was able to get back my Runner I want to focus on it. I have changed out the front end to the 91-96 style and it now has the correct hood not shown in the pictures. It has around 140K on the 2.5 4 banger and 5 speed manual. It runs and drives great and gets damn near 30 miles a gallon. Manual steering and power brakes. The clear coat has peeled on most of it so it looks kinda rough. The major rust is in the cab corners and rockers and I have replacement metal for both. The drivers front fender will need replacing and the passenger side I was going to patch as it isn't to bad. One side of the box over the wheel has some rust. The right front rotor needs turning as it warped. I changed the dash out to the 120 MPH with tach but tach isn't working with the 4 banger as it was from a V8 Dakota. It will be sold with different wheels and tires other than the Keystones pictured. It has a full bed liner and hard tonneau cover. The cover is just sitting on it now as I done't have the attaching hardware for it. I would like to get $600 for it or would trade for parts for my 68 Runner.

Getting ready to swap the front end..

Hi I WANT that Dakota, I am willing to come to truck location to pick it up. David Hunt PM me

Honestly didn't expect to get any interest! Here is a couple pictures of how it sits right now. A couple things I forgot earlier, I took out one coil from the front to lower it, also the passenger side running board is gone. Wasn't going to have them on it anyway. Also just drove it 50 miles to the place we are moving to, runs like a champ! Just had a rubber fuel line spring a leak in the last mile of the drive.
