SOLD A-833 Overdrive 4 Speed

I have an aluminum cased A-833 4 speed. The exterior looks good, no cracks etc in the case. I have pictured the gears and synchros. I am not a 4 speed expert but I did not see any chips, scoring or discolorations in any of the gears or otherwise. I have read that there is sometimes an issue with the floating countershaft and the aluminum case. The shaft feels tight, but I do not know if it was ever bushed or just not that worn. I opened up the trans to take pictures so it will need a new gasket or resealed. If you would like pictures of a particular area, please let me know and I will do my best to accomodate. Asking $400obo. Shipping would be extra and at the buyer's expense, but I can help within reason if you are in the midwest as I travel to Indy and Chicago.

Hi there,

I am new to the forum and have a 64 polara 2 dr. wanted a 4 speed for a while but don't know much about them. Also I'm in Canada so that's a heck of a way to go. I may be coming down there in July to Chicago area. I also have family around there who could maybe pick it up.

How complete is it? I know it's really hard to find mopar parts up here and hard to source replacement parts.

If no one buys it in the next few days my offer is $350 pending I can get down there or my father in law could get it. So I will get back to you. TIA
