Been installing a disc brake set-up on my '64 B-body and so far I've used everything from a '74 dodge dart. Everything is installed except for the master cylinder and plunger rod. I don't want to use the new style aluminum one tho.My question is this, can I use the A-body master cylinder on my B-body, or do I need a b-body one, if so , can I use the old plunger rod out of my single pot master cylinder in the A-body master cylinder??? Thanks. :edgy::edgy:

I don't think there is a difference with the master cyl, A or B. Just be sure it is for disc brake app. Assuming there is no power booster involved, you should be able to use the original rod from the 64. Double check the 4 mounting holes on both cylinders to be sure they are the same. Seem to think the patterns may be different on early B's. Not 100% on that though.

Hey Cuda do the brake hoses on the 74 Dart disc setup have a rectangular head on them that bolt up against a shoulder? I'm trying to figure where my set up came from and I was told a 73 or so Dart. Just wondering for future brake pads.
Thanks.

Are you talking about where the hose goes against the caliper? It can only go on one way because it has a small lip that allows it to only be installed one way. And yes it is rectangular. Hope this helps .

This is my Bee,used 74-76 A body set up,spindles on opposite sides so calipers hang to the rear to clear the front sway bar.

OK, thanks. It's been so long since I done one, and my friend said I would have to buy a adjustable rod from Mancini Racing, and I couldn't remember if I used the old single pot "push rod" out of the old set up the last time or not. So thanks for clearing that up guys. I appreciate it....That's why I love this site so much, mopar brothers helping mopar brothers...YEAH!!!! All, sorry, got carried away.........thanks again...
