I have a 68 charger that I need a complete heater box for. It was originally an A/C car but I am not looking to install all that again. Maybe an after market kit down the road. Anyways, I have found a heaterbox out of another 68 non A/C car. My question is will it bolt in to my car or will I need to make some modifications? DoI need the non a/c frame if so?

Thanks for the help again.

on those cars the firewall panel is different for a/c and non a/c cars
i have never tried it to know for sure but
i do not think you can fit one into the other
without a bunch of issues as to to making it fit good.
unless you want to change the firewall panel
your best bet is finding a a/c box and not hooking up
the a/c componants like i did in my challenger.
less headaches...

The A/C firewall is different. The Heater only box will not simply bolt up. The Dash frame is also different because of the cut outs for the A/C vents.
