I have relented and decided that my grill and headlight bezels are not good enough to put back on my car. There are several dents, scratch, etc.. Have any of you bought the Goodmark aftermarket set and have you been happy with it? I am also thinking about replacing my instument panel with one that includes the factory tac. I don't think there is anything on the fender tag to indicate that feature, but wondering if any of you know? As always your knowledge is appreciated. Thanks.

I've heard the grills and bezels are really nice. As far as the tach goes, you can just ad the tach to your cluster. It's no big deal

Good news good news

This is great to hear and thank you. Next question: Anyone have the correct tach for sale?

The originals were notorious for being slow and inaccurate. New ones are available but kinda pricey

Here is the Goodmark grille on my 69. $350.00 and I think it looks great. It went on with minimal fuss.

Meep, I just have to pop in this thread and comment on your car and your garage. Both are way cool. I was going to try and restore my grille but I think now I'm just going to buy a repro. BTW what is that front repro sheetmetal just below the grille you have there called?

Hey there Eagle, thanks. It's a nice place to build cars in plus only 10 mins away from my condo. Too bad I don't own the building.

I think that's the upper apron or filler panel. It fit well too but I did have to relocate the center bracket to line up with the vertical support that ties to the lower part of the rad support. I also massaged the sheet metal lip around the slots.

Haha! Looking at my picture I see the 5lb sledge and other implements of destruction :rolling: Yeah, it fits just fine [BANG-BANG-BANG] :rolling::rolling: Actually all that stuff was for the lip on the hood. It had a big wowie that the body guy missed because we didn't have the grille to check it with. That's OK, it will give him something to do after I get it together - the stripes need to be redone anyway.
