I'm really enjoying this site as I bring my HS car back to life after hibernation for approximately 26 years. I'd consider myself a car guy. The 69 was my first love, then took a long break for other elements of life but am now getting back into it. I have a 66 Chevy Stepside pickup that me and my dad restored 30 years ago, a 31 Ford rat rod that I finished after buying as a rolling chassis, a 66 Ford Mustang for the wife and finally the 69 Coronet that my dad bought new in 1969. Its a little Deluxe model which doesn't show up very often. Not sure exactly how to build it. First I need to get it on the road and get it reliable, then we can see. The floorboards are all epoxied - what dad had in 1984 so some floorboard replacement will be necessary before it gets any real horsepower. I don't worry about the currently weezy 318 twisting anything right now. I put the hemi springs in the rear and have heavy 1.03 torsion bars on order. All new front end is a February project. Its getting there.
