Any one have those small pillar gauges in their car? Was thinking of trying this wondering if they make something for it already or if yo have to make someting custom?? :dancing_monkey:

Haven't seen any model specific a pillar mounts for Mopar, just the universal that the import kids use. Check out the center dash pad mount from Just Dashes www.justdashes.com/GuageDashPad.htm

They make pillar mounted molded gauge housing for Dakotas & Rams but I haven't seen any for cars yet, The gauge dash pad is pretty cool looking, but I haven't seen 1 in person yet.. I made my own 7 gauge panel to install in the factory location, I haven't installed it yet, but it's the same dimensions of the original gauge cluster from my 68 RR, it includes a 3-1/8" mech. 160mph speedo & 3-1/8" 8000 rpm tach., & 5 -- 2-5/16" water temp, oil pressure, voltage gauge (to eliminate the amp gauge), fuel gauge & clock, 2 yellow 5/16" w/chrome bezels led indicator bulbs.. 1 blue 5/16" led for high beam, 1 red 5/16" led for low oil pressure idiot light... also fabbed up a harness for it.. I'm not at the point of rewiring the under dash & fuse box yet.. I couldn't find anything in the aftermarket that is for a late 60's B-Body so I had to produce my own... If it works out well, I may star to produce them at a later date...

That does look cool.. but not for 7 bills

I just thought of something, Just think if this part was a standard option back in the day how much would people be asking for it today even a used one hmm prob $700 lol

I think it makes the cockpit look 60's NASA retro lol

$700 is a lot of jing but how much is a stock dash pad worth. If you sutract that from the $700....Yeah it is still a lot of money!Does look good though. I will stick w/ the old school gauge bracket mounted under the dash and over the console.

They sure do look great, way over my wallet size though..

well its 700 and you send them a core also , not sure what shipping is , then u have to buy your own after market gauges , so it very expesive to look and function that cool . LOL

this is not a totally new product they ad it on to your core and then recover them

Holy cow I can just build it my self then who needs them?

I have seen guys build the pillar gauge pods with ABS black plastic pipe sections maybe 3-1/2" long w/2" gauges 3 or 4 to a pod, cut to fit on an angle on the base with a radius on the pillar side, it looked pretty damn good... I think they were glued together & mounted with small tabs on the bottom underside, it was a show car not a race car so I don't know how well they would hold up...I considered doing it myself, before I built a 7 gauge custom in-dash, that I still need to install...
