Not only does the world need more role models like this ...we need the press to make this as much of an everyday story as the lurid nasty details of every wanna be celebrity

For years I worked with the pressures
of contributing to the United Way.
Corporations would tell their
employees that wether or not you
chose to give, it would not have an
effect on decisions come hard times
and layoffs. Giving should come from
the heart. And it needn't be a monetary
contribution.
When I mowed my lawn once a week,
It was nothing to drive that mower
across the street and mow my 80 year
neighbors' yard. She's passed now, but
her gratitude was evidenced in her
tears. What a wonderful person she
was.

some are billionaires too
especially stars like both Taylor Swift or likes of Bruce Springsteen $1,000+ seats,
regularly
all while she/he whines about her/his dressing room/surroundings or amenities.
Or ignoring tradition, always speaking out against Constitutional laws (for near 250 years)

You don't hear about Gates or Buffet or Soros
ever giving his fortune away, unless it's a hug tax break or to an ex-wife...

Especially on both coasts (the film industry NY, LA & Ga, a select religious sect now)

even the organized professional sports/racing etc.,
outside of Golf, every high-level professional tournament gives millions,
to the very surroundings/community they are at...

hell even the kneelers of the MLB or MLS/WMLS
lets seen any of them do that

Elvis was pretty good at giving back...
He didn't take credit for much of it either...

So did our former POTUS, didn't seek notoriety either, plus much, much more
a whole bunch more nobody knows about, he gave out of his own pocket
then just gave his whole Presidential salary every year...
Only recent POTUS who came out poorer, than going in...
