Just wondering what the consensus is on which are the best gaskets to use for an engine rebuild. Fel-Pro seems to be the most prevalent gasket maker but don't know if they are the best. What do you think?

There are several gasket manufacturers, but I too have had great luck with Fel Pro.

well the best would be cometic gaskets but they are very expensive, and they dont do all the gaskets needed for complete engine, i would stick with felpro they would be close to the best and very well priced.

x2 felpro has been good to me...got mine from NAPA. it's the NAPA brand made by felpro

Fel pro are great gaskets. My next engine I need to finish up will be using Cometic Head gaskets

Never heard of Cometic, but I'm going to try a set of valve cover gaskets on my next engine. Thanks
