So i am having some shifter vibration as well as what sounds like a little humming from transmission. I also am thinking of having thr transmission overhauled and changing the gears and making it an overdrive but looking for opinions on good ratios. The transmission was built in 1969 and is now in my 1974 roadrunner. It has a 318 with 3.73 gears. Want to get the final rpm down as i use it only for general cruising. Looking at 1st 3.09, 2nd 1.67, 3rd 1.1 and 4th .73. Thoughts would be great.
