Looking to sell my A833 setup out of my 1969 Road Runner. Transmission is still in car, switching to a 727 as I have went the forced inductions route.
-1969 A833 23 spline 4-speed, rebuilt 10,000 miles ago. Comes with an additional Brewers performance rebuild kit.
-BB bellhousing (one crack welded)
-Z/bar linkage
-Transmission linkage
-clutch pedal assembly
-clutch fork
-T.O.B.
-Centerforce DFX 11" clutch (1,000 miles)
-Ram Billet Steel SFI flywheel (1,000 miles) (ARP bolts)
-Hurst shifter assembly (rebuilt last year)
-Hurst pistol grip (tall, new reproduction from Hurst)
-Shifter boot, etc.
Basically everything from my car that is involved with the manual transmission you will receive. The transmission shifts really smooth, better than my M12 trans in my C5 Z06. The clutch has a bit of chatter, but only 1,000 total street miles at most and NO dragstip passes and was installed last year. Transmission fluid has always been from Lucas. The shifter lever was $300 alone, the Flywheel was $350, and the clutch was $400. I would purchase a new bushing kit for the Z-bar linkage from Brewers for $60, as the bushings need to be replaced but it works fine as is.
Looking for $1,500 for the entire setup. Much cheaper than Brewers is asking, which is $4,000 for a basic kit.
I can even send you a video of me going through the gears if you would like to validate it is all in working order :burnout:
