A833 Non Trunnion in 65 Coronet

What is involved in swapping from the original trunnion style setup to a slip yoke on a 65 b-body? I am helping my Dad do an auto to 4 speed conversion and from I am reading the trunnion style 833 is not necessarily the best way to go. Thoughts and comments please.

Also if anyone has an 11" bellhousing cast or steel for sale please let me know thanks in advance.
