What is the advantage to having adjustable strut rods?

You can get more castor with them, very desirable with radial tires, most times it is difficult to get enough castor on these cars with the stock parts.

Also beyond the caster angles that you can adjust/change, it can really tighten up the slop in the front ends too, they run in a true arch, with the OEM rubber & aftermarket poly bushings, they tend to move quite a bit in comparison to most of the adjustable ones...

I have a set of adjustable strut rods on my '65. Also have adjustable upper A arms. Everything from RMS (Reilly Motor Sports). I just set up the strut rods so there was no binding at all at ride height. Caster adjustments made with upper A arms. I like the RMS stuff. Bill is a great guy to deal with. Everything American made. No flexing of rubber bushings. Heim provides the necessary movement ability.
