Hi , I have an AC car and my heater core just went and i was wondering if anyone has replaced a AC heater core with a Non AC core ? I want to get rid of the AC....Thank You

In general the AC and non-AC heater cores are not interchangeable. In order to use a non-AC heater core you'd have to replace the entire heater box under the dash with a non AC box, there's also a difference in the firewall, so you'd have to do quite a bit of metalwork there as well to get it to work. Not really worth it in my opinion. Classic Auto Air can supply a new AC style heater core for you, they're the only place I was able to find them when mine went on my '69 Sport Satellite. I ended up buying their underdash aftermarket box, since all the ac stuff and the vent ducting under the dash was already gone from my car when I bought it.
