adding a floor shift steering column from 66 charger to a 67 coronet

i want to add power steering to this car,would the steering column have to be from a car with power steering or does it even matter? can a charger steering column fit this 67 coronet? thanks

The steering column will fit as long as it came out of a power steering Charger or Coronet!
