is this a difficult job to do,and will it be pricey to pay a professional to do it? thanks

Check the Mopar Muscle archives. They did a article on how to do it at home. If you are good with a welder you should do fine.

the best method is to bolt the rear in the car. Just install the perches in their normal location then set your pinion angle then tach the perches in. Remove
the rear and fully weld the perches taking care not to get the tubes too hot. If that's more work than you want to do then just weld the perches on at 0 degrees to the pinion and use shims to set your pinion angle.
