440-505" tti 1 7/8" headers on stealth heads, just wondering what the best header gasket would be and what port size you would recommend.

the tti gaskets fell apart on me and they were 2" x 1 5/8" port size.

any infor be greatly appreciated thanks

I've been using Remflex graphite header gaskets for a few years now with excellent results. Don't know about port size or availability down under.

I can't speak for aluminum heads but for iron heads my recommendation is none, but only if your flanges are dead flat. I just put a bead of high temp RTV (the copper orange stuff) and use new lock washers under the nuts / bolts. You might try that. And for 505 inches with the larger valve (1.81") I'd be running 2" primaries.

damn u meep dont tell me that lol. i might give the rtv a go cheers

Have had nice results with Percy's aluminum gaskets.
