After market Tach

I want to put a Tach in my road runner. Can I get some ideas on best location and install process.

Pics would be a bonus.

There is another recent thread w/pics on this. Sun Tach. Steering column. Rusty hose clamp. Gale Govier.

On the column is where most of mine go. That way I can position them for best line of sight. I hate looking down too far or to the side. That just takes your eyes off the road. As long as I can get a quick glance at it. On the dash pad would be ideal,but I hate putting screws through them.
