Getting closer to putting the interior in and I'm wanting something better than stock, but not a full 5pt harness. Any ideas?

XVMotorsports 3 point. Early version. Marginal. Current somewhat improved.

I thought XV was out of business?

I run 3" crow racing lap belts...xv is out of business but someone bought it though. Under another name I think...

Looks like they're not available....

Thanks for the lead anyway.

I e-mailed Chris at XV. I need two as well...

The retractor you will get now has an improved housing. They are a little high at the neck, I use a hokey auto store clip to hold the upper belt lower for comfort. Is a pain in the ***, engineered well, execution much to be desired. Only game in town.

Looks like they need to bring that upper piece down a bit more.

Chris at XV says he hopes to have a stock of seat belts next week.

Thanks Mechanic never noticed the similar threads at the bottom of the page before!

Glad I could help.

If I had it to do over I would not get the factory look buckles and latches since they are so heavy and harder to connect/disconnect.

Just installed the XV front belts this past week. It was an easy install, bolted right in to the stock locations. The fit is good for me (I'm 6'2") but the shoulder harness might still be a little high for women. Be forewarned - the OEM front seat belt bolts have an elongated shank. The XV mounting tabs are thinner than OEM so the threads will bottom out. Since my interior is apart I pirated the shorter bolts from the rear seat belts to use in the front; still needed a washer cinch everything down. Now I have to source new bolts for the rear...

I purchased a front set of the standard modern retractable front seat belt kit (ones with the red push buttons). Got tired of the old stock seat belts flopping around.

I'm using a set of 3pt belts with the correct 68 B body buckles from seatbelt solutions, I'm happy with then and the correct buckles is a plus!
