Air cleaner help

I'm using a holley 4150 HP street carb and the air cleaner base plate that I have is a dropped one with cutouts at 12 and 6 o'clock.....about 2 1/2 inches wide......at both ends.........i think you guys know the one I'm talking about.....anyhow this base plate won't clear the corners of the outer fuel bowls.........has anyone had this problem or found a base plate that fits these carbs.....any help would be great:hello2:

All I can tell you is I bought this one from Jegs as I needed it to clear and not hit the hood scoop. Its a 9" cleaner and it works good for me. I actually cut the 1/8 shoulder off the base to have enough room as it has the filter base plate right on the carb bowls. But it has worked great for me. Oh and its 2" high. Ron
