Air Cleaner I.D Help needed !!

I bought a 1973 Plymouth Satellite with a slant 6.
The air cleaner is the same color blue as the valve cover ??
Under the blue paint the air cleaner is bare metal ??
Is the air cleaner on a 73 b body supposed to be blue or should it be black like other slant six's ??

i'm almost sure it should be black.my i bought my wife a 77 volare with a /6 that is all original and it is black.

Unless I missed it they don't cover the slant 6? Otherwise a very good reference!
