Guys,

For a non Air Grabber 69 RR, what parts are needed to add an Air Grabber setup?

thanks for any insights!

From top to bottom you'll need the correct fresh air hood inserts that actually have screens in place of the solid inserts. Next would be the 3 piece fiberglass ductwork and the hardware to mount it to the bottom of the hood. Then there is a rubber seal that is attached to the ductwork that seals around the oval air cleaner assembly which you will also need. Lastly you'll have to switch to a 3 speed wiper system as the 2 speed motor sticks straight out and into the air cleaner. This place sells most if not all the Air Grabber parts you will need and what they don't sell you can probably find on this forum or ebay.

dont forget the air cleaner assembly the 383 base is different from a 440 but only in height nothing that can'tbe remedied, also the air grabber boxes from pg classics do fit or line up correctly & arent even close i found this out the hard way plus you have to fight with that douche to send them back & still eat the shipping to canada.
don't believe me call mike at be&a & ask him why he doesn't sell them anymore or herb's parts all of them contracted the same manufacturer to build the boxes!!!

Most importantly, you will need a REALLY fat wallet!!
Air grabber parts are expensive!

thanks. Where is the best place to get the parts in the highest level of quality? Cost isnt too much a concern.

If you don't want to wrestle with the repopped stuff then keep your eyes on Ebay, forums like these or the Mopar Collectors Guide and of course Craigslist.

You may want to contact 68bee70rr. I just sold him a complete original air grabber setup with everything except the air cleaner (cables and all) and he has another hood with a setup on it already. He said he planned on taking the best of everything for his car and then moving the rest to recoup some money.
