Air grabber problems!

I am building a 1970 RR, we have dropped in a crate 426 hemi. we are unable to close the hood all the way down. has anyone else had this problem and if so what was your solution.

How about explaining what and where the problem is, what the setup is (i.e., carbs, intake) etc.
