I have a 70 RR with the air grabber. I want to "restore" it. It works great, but I want to make it look like new. The rubber seal I know can be replaced. But what about cleaning or painting the black plastic or fiberglass parts of it. I have a new screw & clip kit for it. So are the parts cleanable or paintable. And what products to use???

I just washed my heater box with hot soapy water and a sponge and it looks like new. Still retains the shine of a new part. I will try it on my airgrabber box also. All the component parts and pieces will be the challenge. I think I will spend a lot of time with my glass bead cabinet for the metal parts.

I'll try a good soapy wash & clean first. Probably put on a new rubber seal & clean it up from there. Any other cleaning or resto suggestions are appreciated.
