airtec double bubble 6mm x 1.5 m x 20m foil insulation saga....

In search for a thin lightweight water proof foil insulation as a substitute for dyna mat. Is unavailable to ship to USA. I can get it directly from China but it's a 40' container minimum order and UK has it but no ship to USA I contacted the largest company in Sheffield England for a shipping estimate.... it sucks knowing there are products out there for thermal and noise insulation just not in this country.
Infrastop is available here but it is not the same... there has been a lot of advancements in insulation lately due to energy costs..

Have you looked into "Fat-Mat??Sounds like good stuff and lower priced than Dyna-Mat. They have a web-site.............................MO

Same stuff I want to stay away from the bituthane sticky stuff because it's expensive heavy etc and the double bubble is light and has the best insulation and acoustic propertys... I used it building an indoor grow room where moisture heat weight and cost are I'm important... it beats the other stuff by a mile... I will settle for infra double bubble I can get here a 3' x 100' roll of 3/16 is $150 verse $1500 for dyna mat... the airtec I want you can walk on it and the bubbles don't pop. So I will do the head liner and doors and floors with some tunnel shield over the hot spots like my mufflers and fire wall. To retain 97% of my cold ac and repel 97% of the heat and it kills noise so my steel sounds like an sound booth.... I know this from jamm'n in the grow and from hvac experience...
