If your interested my dad has a 4.0L head with bigger valves already. He was going to put it on the gremlin we had but then he got rid of it. Ill get the company name he went through for that six cause he got a 4 barrel manifold for it and a header will call him and post it up for you.

Talked to my dad and that company was clifford research in Temecula ca. Pm me if your interested in that head with aluminum valve coved.

hemi-itis please inform me how you turbocharged that slant six would you build a turbo for me it looks like a nightmare to do? ive been doing research it but its hard for me to find the parts any info would be nice by the way thats a awsome /6.

are you willing to sell the header and manifold cuz that i will buy if a decent price thanks moparmat.

We dont have the header I was just letting you know what the company clifford made for the slant six all we have is the head and valve cover. Sorry. A lot of guys just make there own manifolds more of a log type design due to hardly anyone making stuff for six. Or what you can do is use the stock manifold and have a plce cut off the exhaust adaptor and weld on a turbo flange then just getting a turbo. Course building the motor up a bit would help. If its already like 9.0:1 compression youll be fine even cast pistons will work to a point but its not like youll be pushing high boost through it. Even putting 5-8 psi of boost youll feel a difference and you can go intercooled or go straight turbo to carb. Turbos can just get one that in internally waste gated to help keep cost down then just the pumbing some turbos are oil cooled and some water/oil which would have to be tapped into your cooling system.

moparmat72 could you make a video or something like that or find like parts i could use on ebay or something i understand how parts work but making my own stuff is confusing as hell if you could find a turbo or set-up that would be easy to set-up and stuff that would be great thanks.

You know go on cxracing.com they have the turbos I was talking about plus universal intercooler kits that you can get then cut to make you own routing of the pipes plus the intercooler. I had their kit for my dodge neon srt4 and put 30 psi to it and never had a problem course you wont be boosting that high and they have the flanges. Just when building the motor just stud everything heads, exhaust manifold heck you can even stud the intake. Let me know if your interested in that head we have better flowing compared to factory older style course intake and exhaust manifolds are different. But I believe that company clifford has them youd have to check.

Turbos with internal waste gate I think it said $250 and is good for 350hp it says but with a good cam and good upgrades you can get higher. Intercooler kits maybe $400 but its a little time consuming due to it not made for any car so its a meassure/cut/ weld. Upgradez to the engine depends on what your hp goal is really you have to pay to play. But on stock internals would handle the 350 with minor bolt on stuff.

ok im going to look into the turbo than and i really appreciate you helping me guy its a son of a bitch to teach things to myself without seeing it first but thanks.

You REALLY need to go here: http://slantsix.org/ Be cool, ask one or two questions at a time and LISTEN to what they tell you. Lots of great folks over there. You're young and they love new blood interested in slants. Give specific goals and expectations. They can tell you if you can meet them.
