Walmart and Kroger grocery stores are down to about <5% of their normal stock. How about you?

I honestly don't pay attention to that stuff anymore, otherwise I would end up buyin' somethin' lol. I would have to look next time I go to Walmart.

I just got this kool ‘65 Chevelle!

Very few at the Meijers near me. Diecast car stock in general is pretty low there lately.
Probably for the best, once in a while I see a cool Mopar and buy it. Then it generally gets tossed in a box with a bunch of other Hot Wheels, Greenlight, Racing Champion etc model cars shortly after I get home. Been doing that for many years, I have many dozens stashed away for no reason other than I can't resist impulse purchases!

I got an email from 1 stop diecast that the Mattel factory was closed for a couple months. That and the supply chain issue it’s going to be awhile. They cancelled their subscription plan to have members automatically sent out.

Keep an eye on Hobby Lobby.....no HotWheels, but they do have M2 and Johnny Lightning....

Interest in die cast is dropping. The kids today don’t care.

Now that you mention it...... most of my local 'big' stores used to have bins full of 'em, now there's just what will fit on a few peg hooks. Loss of interest or Covid related?

I think it's got more to do with supply chain issues than anything else. Most of the stores around here have plenty of HotWheels, but then again, we're right next to the shipping ports.

When I was out and about this weekend, there were some stores that were pretty well stocked(Fred Meyer, Hobby Lobby, Target....), and others like WalMart that didn't have diddly squat on the shelf...

Local grocery store has 'um though I really don't pay much attention. Can't say as I got rid of them years ago. All I have is one HotWheels and 2 Johnny Lightning keep sakes.

hardly notice....if they do have a car I'd buy...they all have weird graphics and Donk wheels.

They’re gonna start adding addendums to the price of them:lol:

I noticed quite a while back Lowes ( of all places lol) has one rack of larger scale no name brand cars.... always at the checkout for the screaming gimme brats. I see now that racks got about 7 or 8 cars in it tops...

Is there a particular model you want?

I lost interest in them about 20 years ago for that very reason. However, if I could find these Vintage Racing Series cars ($3?) I would buy them today ...
