Happy Easter. I am a history buff and while looking for something else, was wonderfully surprised.to find this image and brief write-up of this long obscure Dodge store. What better way to enjoy it than sharing it with FBBO. Plus it's my first post with a photo attachment, was pretty easy lol. In all my years, I have only seen one muscle car at a show locally from this store.

This is where Mom’s ‘68 was purchased back in 1968!!! I remember walking the lot (I was 14) with Mom looking for cars. She spotted the Charger with the white roof and fell in love with it at first site. The salesman was trying to talk her into a Dart saying that was a more “appropriate” car for a lady. She stuck to her guns and we still have that car. I still have the invoice, she put down a 20.00 deposit that day.

Thanks for posting this photo.

Thanks again for sharing, neat little article!

Moms68 -. Does your Charger have the Allen Motor plate on it? That may be the car I am thinking of. My great uncle ran the Esso on Main Street.

No Allen Motors plate on mine.
