Aluminum Slotted wheels

I am thinking about getting a set of 14" aluminum slots for my 68 RR. Yeah, I know 14" tire sizes are limited.
Can any of you guys tell me about the differences (whether subtle or not so subtle) among different manufacturers? Ansen, US Indy, Appliance, American Racing, etc.
I would much rather have a set with 4.5 bolt pattern.

The differences can vary even from the same brand over the years. The Appliance wheels were more polished if I recall. The offsets could vary slightly also. ET made some with an oblong lug slot that had a steel insert that was reversible. After a while, I couldn't tell who made what without looking at the back for the name. Eventually they started making them overseas with no manufacturer name stamped on them. Once the sticker fell off you didn't know what you had. I have a set of 4 14" x 6" made by Fenton for a Dart/Valiant, 4" bolt circle, not for sale. Hoping someday to get another Dart! I also have a pair of 14" x 6" with 4.5" bolt circle that you can have for free if you pay shipping from NJ. I would, however strongly recommend getting the 15" size as it's not only a matter of greater tire size availability but there is greater clearance for the brakes. There are several manufacturers making them again, thank God. Nobody made them for years. They are my favorites not only because of the way they looked, but were one of the easiest to clean! All the old wheels were pretty easy to clean actually, Rocket Wheels, Torque Thrust, Cragar SS and Keystone Classics. To each his own. The newer Slotted wheels have a conical tapered seat. There are a lot of differences in the look of the wheels depending on mfg. Also differences in the quality of the castings some are very porous and look bad when they have been polished. I have confirmed at least 42 different manufacturers of aluminum slots.

Original Ansen sprints ( not those goofy looking ones they sell now under the answer name )are the best looking and the best castings

I've always like aluminum slots - one of my favorite wheels. Your 'runner would look great with them, very cool & retro. If I was in the market, I would probably pop for a set of U.S. Mags Indy U101 wheels. I like that they're bolt pattern specific (no unilug action) and they're new, so no worries about cracks, etc.

I agree 100% with multimopes about using 15" wheels. You will be really limited on tire choice, plus 14" wheels look too small on a B-Body.

I'm confused or did I miss something? Your car came with 4.5" bolt pattern.

Do you mean 4.5" only bolt pattern ?

if you want 15" i have a set of 7 & 8.5 in 4.5 bolt pattern (that 8.5 in 4.5 bolt pattern is hard to find, most of that size are unilug)
they were professionally polished and put away in boxes
