AMD No longer offing reproduction valve covers

I’m not sure if this has been posted before but AMD is no longer reproducing valve covers.

OG ones are cheap and most people are using aftermarket valve covers.
There wasn't any money in it for them to reproduce a $50 set of valve covers at double the price.

4 times the price and the bolt holes are off ask me how I know.

Yep, I got lucky and got a pair from Kern Dog, original ones for the 70 model are harder to find. They’re on the ride here from California. Yeah !!!

From what I read on many sites not a great loss as they were not usable as is... Better off fixing an original set..

Yes sir , I’m also waiting on my radiator to be cleaned and checked. Dave you may know the guy that’s doing the work for me, his shop is near us on Platt Springs rd. Not far from you. He is about the only one left around here that works on radiators anymore.
