I need to replace my amp gauge, can it be done without removing the gauge cluster?
I searched for a thread on cluster removal for a 68 GTX but had no luck.
Could someone give my a link or directions on removing the cluster.
Thanks,
Tim

might wanna just eliminate it. i thought about reviving mine (mine was dead when i bought the car) but after all the horror stories i've on this site about, i realize it was killed for a reason. those things cause more car fires than about anything else in your car.

Nope. Have to remove and tear apart the cluster. Consider converting to an ammeter. There were some excellent photos posted a while ago

Did you mean converting to a voltmeter?
