Andy Griffith won't be down for breakfast

That's a shame.... But honestly, I figured he was dead already.

LOL Brian, that was hilarious. But seriously, i thought he had died already too. Oh well, still one of the catchiest themes to any show. And Richard, i know it's kind of morbid, but i like the service you're providing here at FBBO. I don't even have to watch the news anymore!

R.I.P. Andy, I was a loyal watcher of the Andy Griffith show for years, I grew up with it, not so with much Matlock.... I taught my bird Lowenbraugh, the theme song whistling, in the beginning of Andy & Oppies shows...

Enjoy watching the old Andy of Mayberry reruns. Especially the old early 60s cars running around. Even the old Ford cop cars. RIP Andy.

Great show . A great man with integrity , quite rare in showbusiness today . He surely wiil be missed . I also grew up with that show . R.I.P. Andy Griffith.

"no time for sergeants"......"A face in the crowd"
andy could make you laugh or cry..
a great actor...

too bad he was "Sheriff andy taylor" it was his stigma.

For me Andy Griffith is one of the few Hollywood folks that make me pause to reflect on the good times they brought to the TV screen. RIP.

Andy was a good man, made a lot of folks laugh.. I grew up watching him as well, still do on the dvd disks.. condolences to his family.. RIP Andy!

I watched the Andy Griffith show and Matlock growing up as a kid. Of course the Andy Griffith show was old reruns. I can barely watch TV today, unless it is a car related show.

I just saw Andy in an old B&W movie last weekend playing a young radio DJ drifter. He will always be remembered as the Sheriff in Mayberry. A simple guy in a simpler time....R.I.P.

Can't ask for a better man in the world of junk TV....he set the bar for TV and movies.

You know he taught a lesson and was honorable during the show. You dont see that much anymore. Just regular people with regular problems with comedy mixed in and Opie always got taught a lesson... Aunt B.. Always wanted to try some of her cooking. I still use the Andy ! I cant fine my bullet line....
Thank you Mr Griffith . RIP

I'll add my thanks to the memory of good ol' Andy. I remember his comedy routine "What it was, was Football" where he dropped his "Big Orange Drink"! They don't make 'em like that anymore!

I remember that movie.. !
He was a very good actor... To be honest he always reminded my of my uncle Chuck... Almost the exact same voice and pretty close to the same manerisms.
You could have a lot worse stigma than being Sherriff Taylor. 100% likeable character and always the voice of reason..What do kids have now? Charlie Sheen... You see my point ..LOL

RIP. One less Obama voter too.
