Myself & my youngest did a 101 mile loop today from our house that took us out onto out onto Lake Winnipesaukee, up and over a 3,000 foot mountain & eventually back home. Some good riding out on the trails & I especially enjoyed the time with my son who is in the middle of his teenage years and getting quality time with him when he doesn't have an attitude is quite rare these days.

The temp was a balmy 50 degrees this afternoon which was really too warm. Mid 20s-mid 30s is the perfect temp forsledding.

Whadya want a medal? Lake Oh be gone. It's sunny and 70 here. Think I'll go smolder them. ; )

Looks like fun RC/DH

Nice! Great way to spend a winter day. I have found that me and my youngest son get along much better when we're wearing helmets. (lol)

It was 75 and sunny every where else. We were all out driving our Mopars. But I guess if you like the snow, you were in the right place.

Helmets make sense. Should I exercise the Challenger, Charger or Coronet? Decisions. Mopar. Or no car.

Meanwhile in Santa Cruz CA yesterday...........

But it looks like you make the best of the cold white stuff. Looks like fun actually!

Put on 70 with the wife yesterday.... Roads were glare ice on the way up (think there's permanent hand prints in the steering wheel), she buried her sled in 6 foot of snow, of course down hill and off the trail. In the process, she hit a trail post, busted off the hand guard, cracked the windshield, cracked a ski, lost the plug in for her heated shield, lost my phone while digging her out of a glacier for 1 1/2 hours, trails were either washboarded, blown over or gone..High temp was 3F, wind blowing at 30MPH. Top it off, was stuck in a dive motel with paper thin walls, next to three noisy 400Lb dudes from illinois that either had a innertube deflating fetish or a dashing contest to see who could accurately fart "Silent Night".

Needless to say, Saturday night was the first time I drank whiskey in about 10 years.

Good to hear someone had a good time out on the trails.

Hope it was good whiskey at-least...LOL...sounds like an real adventure Prop... hope you have a nicer day tomorrow

Sounds like a great weekend Prop! ha ha ha

Haven't had the sleds out at all this year. Last weekend the kids wanted a ride. Figured between 2 sleds should find one that runs enough for a quick spin around the yard...nope. Wife's would only run on half choke and mine was dumping gas out of one carb because of a stuck float. I always pull carbs before the first ride and make sure they are clean. (Yes, our sleds still have carbs)

Just got back from Kalkaska MI..a good 3ft of snow and more in some places at camp ...I have the old beater sled 85 ski doo 377 put about 50 miles of deep deep snow riding...my 12 year old son learned how to get threw the deep stuff...took my 10 year old daughter on some deep back country riding....we learned how to un stick a sled that was taken where it should not go....

Yea, I like the warm winters too these days, but I have to say I sure do miss snowmobiling.. I haven't been on a sled in 20 years..
