hi kids. yesterday i picked up a 1966 Belvedere from a member on this forum.
440 hyped up a bit and runs like no tomorrow. Hemi cam in the 440 really makes her run! the body is FANTASTIC but needs some love to make it right....which is what i LOVE to do. i will post some pix later on today because i cant email the pix i have on my phone for some odd reason.

i personally want to thank CHRIS and his dad DONALD for the sale of this car to me. i absolutely love it and it WILL be well taken care of. thank you so much the both of you.

i know Cranky has one of these cars and i will NATURALLY be asking alot of questions as i learn more and more about this beautiful car!:headbang:

upon research i found the car to be an original 273 bench seat, gold on gold....now is light grey with a 440...blue interior uppers. ill get pix of the fender tag

i also found the certi-card....havent got to finding the build sheet as of yet,,,,all that starts today.

the car originally sold in Nashville Tenn. to a gentleman named Jack White. after i get the new lower rad hose on the 70 runner the work begins on the Belvy!:headbang:

thanx again Chris and Donald!:hello2:

Congrats on your new ride, looks like a sweet car, I hope you didn't beat them up too bad on it! Now you got got a car for the Wi, Oh sorry, forgot about that. Whoa Bundy right! LOL....

.......and yes........WHOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA BUNDYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY:hello2:

ok...pix are up....TAAAA-DAAAAAAAAA
well i filled the gas tank only to find it leaks so im now as we speak siphoning 19 gallons out to my truck.

i had to tow it home from the gas station coz it just quit on me. got it going again.....dumbass me forgot to turn on the electric fuel pump...WHICH WILL BE LEAVING SOON !!!!! not sure if the mechanical fuel pump works or not but ill get to it.....AND MAKE IT WORK...that electric one is too loud.

first steps is to make sure its safe to drive...so ill be yanking off the wheels and what not. all in all i love the car...i just have to go over it with a fine tooth comb coz im an **** retentive idiotic moron. i think i did well on this purchase and i got this car for a great price ...but im not going to post what i paid for it publically.....hope you understand! ENJOY !

I feel your excitement....... Love to the Belvedere.... good luck on it.. My cat doesn't like the cars....

I've looked at a couple of 63 and 64 65's .... I should have bought the one in Cali!!

for the record my cat has the most expensive cat bed in the history of cats.... 67 Convertible. :toothy5:

now your play'n' with the BIG BOYS!
Great Ride, good for you!
my dream is to own a "62,'63,'64,'65,'66 Belvedere
love 'em all.
no badge, just BAD.:headbang:

Just hope there's enough room in that barn that RR doesn't get jealous.....

PLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLENTYYYYYYYYYYY OF ROOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM. the Road Runner likes the company of the Belvy alot better than my dirty truck....which by the way is now living outside in the driveway. thanx guys....to answer your question...it is lazer straight and NO BONDO. the underneath looks like the day is was put together....its not perfect...heres a list of stuff i need to fix that i found today :

the electric fuel pump GOTTA GO !
THE GAS TANK LEAKS
the steering column needs rebuilt
the engine compartment needs " deluxxed up "
the front seats dont belong there
needs new ignition switch
tranny slips a bit
majorrrrrrrrrr exhaust leak at the manifolds to the pipes ( the joint right there)
it rattles a bit...( makes me nuts )
needs a good spare tire...( its dry rotted)
needs new rims...15's...altho in the pix they look great.....theyre not
needs raised whites
needs some kind of hood and trunk stripes..( yes i know its not original)...theres just too much grey.
the *** end needs lifted up and so does the torsion bars

i gave some thought of making this into a GTX clone...( yeah yeah ,,,i know the GTX didnt come out til 1967 )...but its the same damn car almost...only way of telling is the back up lights and the vin....but i probably wont go that route.

needs a few little things too but ill get to that in time. i havent pulled the wheels yet to check the brakes and i need to know what year that 440 is and the tranny.

i had it out for about 5 minutes today,,,and damn near spun off the back tires..( hemi cam and 3500 stall converter)... wow,,,,what power,,,,my road runner wont do that ! ...lol
