A friend of mine has a brand new pair of Super Stock springs part numbers P3412002 and 003. In the part number search it shows these are for a 3,000 pound car.

He's offered me a great deal on purchasing these. I have a 64 Sport Fury with a specified weight of 3215 pounds. I'd like to use them if they would work (I know I would need a front hanger extension) but would the 215 pound difference make a difference. It's not a race car, the current leaf springs are sagging and need to be replaced...would appreciate any thoughts or comments. Thanks

Please call Espo for a nice set of springs for a reasonable price. I had SS springs on my Sport Fury. They sucked. They are made in Mexico. Mine put the car exactly where the stock springs were. Also, you can't just buy the front spring hanger, and install them. A bodies have a 20 inch front segment. Later B bodies had a 22 inch front segment. All SS springs are 20 inch front segment. That's why you need the front hangers. The problem is early B bodies have a 21 inch front segment. So, you will have to buy the SS springs, the front hangers, and have the front spring bolt hole drilled through the front hangers. After all that, you will have a suspension for drag racing. Not the street.

I put mono spring(calvert) 1 inch over and my 3600 pound R/T sits very nice IM000906.JPG
