At Muncie I ran 14.2 at 100 mph on street tires 275/60/15. Cooper cobra
Traction problems off line. 2.3. 60 ft time
What size slick tire with no mods to car?
Radial or bias?
I don't consider myself a racer but I love going and running the car for a test and tune and trophy racing any help would be appreciated

275/60 M/t drag radial will work fine. You can even drive to the track on them. These will work way into the 9's even for bracket use. Last weekend my sons car w/3.55 gear ran 9.80's@137. 7 passes with-in .009 (1.435-1.444)in 60 ft. These are the same tires he drives with on the street.

Do'nt know their rules but the old style M/T we run are DOT approved.
